Lospray and XVI Viareggio historic sails meeting

by ZacBoats 17 Oct 2021 15:37 BST 14-17 October 2021

Lospray is a fascinating 1960s motorsailer that has an antique feel to it. It looks like a direct descendent of one of McBryde's Scottish cruising vessels designs from the 1930s with their beautiful teak superstructure and high, powerful bow.

Marine architect Franco Anselmi Boretti must have studied those classic forms a great deal when he dedicated himself to the design of this motorsailer.

Lospray was built in mahogany and was built in a refined manner by the prestigious Picchiotti Shipyard in Viareggio.

After a long and total philological restoration directed by the ZacBoats Team at the Francesco Del Carlo Shipyard in Viareggio, completed in July 2021, Lospray is the boat that symbolizes the XVI Classic Yachts meeting taking place in Viareggio at 14-17 October 2021.

ZacBoats is proud of the wonderful result.
