Are you an Exmoor Pony or a Suffolk Ram?

With the Noble Marine West Country Boat Repairs RS200 National Championships less than a week away, with an entry of 118 boats, the all-important Buddy List has been revealed.

The RS200 fleet pioneered the Buddy Group system and it is an integral part of the National Championships, designed to help sailors get to know each other and for the better sailors to help those with less experience progress.

Each Buddy Group has 3 pairs - usually 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze boat. The Buddy quiz is the first big social event of the championships, perfect for buddies to get to know each other.

This year the Buddy Group names are in keeping with the 'On the Farm' theme for the Ugly Party, sponsored by Pete Vincent of West Country Boat Repairs Big Fancy Dress Party. Sailors were today asked "Are you and Exmoor Pony or a Suffolk Ram?" and invited to find out by visiting the list here.

Exe Sailing Club have agreed to arrange the dinghy park so that sailors should be next to their buddies, a huge help in finding them in such a big fleet.
