YYachts shows the YC / Tripp 90 to the general public for the very first time. A Y7 and a brand new Y8 are also moored at Port Canto.

This is the first time ever that YYachts presented such a line-up at a boat show. YYachts will dock three yachts at Port Canto, the Tripp 90 will even be presented to the world public for the first time.

Commenting on the yard's appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Dirk Zademack, Managing Director of YYachts, said: "The Cannes show is one of the most important shows for us. We are therefore delighted to be present with three yachts this year."

YYachts has the stand number SAIL 30/SAIL 166 at Port Canto.

Y Custom / Tripp 90

The YC / Tripp 90 from YYachts' Custom Division was built on behalf of an American customer who wants to use the yacht for both regatta sailing and worldwide cruising. Her designer and exterior designer Bill Tripp was enthusiastic during the first test runs: "The yacht sails exceptionally well. We have set a great standard here together with Michael Schmidt Yachtbau."

The interior design of the 29.77-metre-long and 6.80-metre-wide Tripp 90 was created by Winch Design in London. Stylistic inspirations from the east coast of the USA, Scandinavian influences from the middle of the last century and the use of specific and well-matched woods give the interior an elegance with an extraordinary touch.

The Y7

Finally, the portfolio in Cannes is completed by a Y7. The almost 22-metre-long yacht can be described as a YYachts bestseller - ten units have already been sold. A Y7 can be sailed comfortably with the family and is designed to generate an extraordinary sailing experience even in light Mediterranean winds. Her exterior was designed by Bill Tripp, the interior by Norm Architects from Copenhagen, which can be customised by MSY's in-house design team.

New Y8

Right next YYachts places a new Y8. The construction and the sporty, timeless exterior styling of the 24-metre yacht is from the drawing board of Lorenzo Argento, who has slightly modified this Y8 to personalise it for the owner. The interior of the Y8 is based on a design by Design Unlimited, which was further developed by the MSY design team. As is customary with YYachts, all models can be individually tailored to the owner's wishes.
