The first race of the sailing week Rodos Cup 2021 organized for the 24th year by ASIATH Rhodes together with the South Aegean Region was a great success.
The 28 boats started with a low headwind that allowed a very technical race to take place until the middle of the course. From there onwards, the low side winds allowed the crews to use their spinnakers. In the IMS class, Favorit Plus finished first, Mousmoulo second and Maria Estella third.
In the IRC category, the boat Fox finished first, Essex Girl second and Courrier Du Coeur third.
In the cruising category, the first place went to Take Wind, second to Nefeli and third to Enchantment Of Sakhalin.
Today the start took place at 11:00 AM with destination Nisyros.
