The famous Shoreham sea breeze and waves made for non-alcoholic champagne sailing on Saturday.
After an hour's delay waiting for the breeze to arrive Mike Warwicker started proceedings and another Topper-tastic day started for the 24 sailors.
The competitive youngsters were pushing the line forcing the race committee to bring out the black flag, which helped in getting the 4 races started.
The conditions were perfect but challenging, all the sailors did very well in providing some very entertaining racing.
It was a very tightly contested traveller but, in the end, Joseph Warwicker won the day by 1 point over Edwin Cross (second) who was 1 point over Hugo Valentine in third, all Shoreham Sailors. In fact, the first 8 places went to Shoreham, proving that the support and training provided by Shoreham Sailing Club is really working.
After racing everybody enjoyed a well-deserved swim and ice cream back at the club's beach.
The organisers would like to thank all the volunteers who made the day possible.
