With the whole sailing community chomping at the bit to get back into open and competitive sailing with their friends, family and adversaries, the Lark Class are extremely proud to announce and preview the 2021 Musto National Championships, taking place at Rock between 30th May & 2nd June 2021.

With the cancellation of last year's Nationals, the timing of this year's champs could not have been better as the country comes out of a lockdown that allows the event to happen with only minor land-based restrictions in place. A full nine-race + crews race programme is scheduled, and a whole host of family friendly events, both on and off the water, taking place after racing on each day.

All the details can be found on the Online Notice Board nationals.larkclass.org

The key attractions of taking part in this year's event are:

  • A full race programme over 4 days in glorious corner of Cornwall, with early morning races so the remainder of each day can be spent with family and friends enjoying the Cornish countryside.
  • Only £129 to enter and take part in the event's four-day, nine-race programme. Enter now to join the fun
  • There is still accommodation available at Trewiston Farm campsite. Check out the other listings.
  • Rock Sailing Club have an enviable track record of hosting tremendous championships both on the water and on the beach!
  • Entrants span the great and good of Lark sailing, both past and present. Check out the Runners and Riders.
  • The event is being generously sponsored by MUSTO, who are providing masses of prizes and goodies being handed out throughout the week. In addition, 20% off purchases at the local Musto store for Lark participants.
  • There will be a professional photographer, out on the water, for all four days. Check out robertdeaves.uk/photos
  • The class are investing in state-of-the-art video equipment in readiness for this event. So races can be watched from the 360 Burgee-Cam, amongst other GoPros and drones surveying the race track.

The event promises to be one of the most eagerly-awaited championships for the long time. If you think you can make it down to Cornwall, do get in contact via to see if the Lark class can help get yourselves onto the water.
