The Simarine NMEA 2000 gateway module allows your battery status, tank levels, pitch and roll to all be transmitted on your NMEA system, thus allowing voltage or resistance based tank senders to appear on your compatible chart plotter.

Using the Simarine NMEA Gateway, any future updates will bring support for switch bank control and status as well as a range of NMEA networked engine and transmission parameters.

Often, we find our refit focused customers working on systems consisting of different components of various manufacturers. Using a Simarine Pico system with a NMEA interface module allows onboard integration with existing hardware, whilst also offering the very latest in vessel monitoring design. Why have the latest chart plotter fitted if you cannot view your fuel tank status, along with an incredibly accurate barograph and battery monitoring.

We are often asked about the possibility of remote monitoring and control when the owner is away from their vessel, this is a perfect example of how useful it is to have an NMEA2000 communication implemented. Simarine offer remote monitoring in collaboration with a one of the industry leaders in remote connectivity - Sentinel Marine. The bridge between SIMARINE and the SENTINEL BM40 system is new NMEA 2000 compatible gateway.

The main advantage of the NMEA module is in the fact that it can showcase the data gathered from the Simarine advanced battery monitor, the PICO. This allows full monitoring of up to 6 battery banks, along with 6 additional battery voltages, 14 tank levels (or 14 temperature monitoring modules) and 20 consumer or power generation readings.
