Bouley and Filey Vests: the new lifejackets for kids from Typhoon International

Leading technical clothing and accessories manufacturer Typhoon International has created two new children's lifejackets, the Bouley Vest, for infants to three years old, and the Filey Vest for children to 12 years old.

The two vests are ideal for family cruising and every type of activity on and around the water.

Both vests are fully adjustable to allow for a child's growth over several years. The Bouley spans weights of 5kg to 15 kg so is ideal for one to three year olds while the Filey is available in four adjustable fits for age ranges from 1-12 years old, or 5kg to 40kg.

Each model has a generous but comfortable collar for support in the water, while the Bouley also features a mesh back so moisture isn't trapped inside. In addition a soft PVC foam inner gives added comfort and buoyancy. There's a lifting handle and a 'nappy style' crotch strap to keep a youngster extra safe and quickly scoop them up away from danger. The Filey, like the Bouley, is comfortable to wear too and features double crotch straps. It also has a lifting handle.

Both the infant Bouley Vest and the children's Filey Vest have an adjustable waist strap, whistle attachment and plenty of reflective panelling. The pair are approved to the highest safety standards including BS EN ISO 12402.
