To celebrate the arrival of the first Excess 11 in Asia Pacific, our dealer in Japan Odyssey Marine organized an Excess Tour in Yokohama, Japan at the end of the March, attracting over 400 attendees of sailing enthusiasts and potential buyers.

She had her Asian-Pacific premiere during the Japan International Boat Show from April 15th-18th, 2021, and was warmly-received.

Now, the entire Excess fleet - the Excess 11, the Excess 12 and Excess 15 - has hit the waters in Asia Pacific. The first Excess model in the region, an Excess 12 arrived in Sydney, Australia last year, commissioned by our dealer Flagstaff Marine. She was publicly displayed at Boating Rendezvous 2020—Sydney.

The Excess 15 joined the fleet shortly afterwards, sold by our dealer in New Zealand, 36 Degrees Brokers. The happy owner signed her up for the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers 2020. This was the first time that an Excess catamaran crossed the Atlantic and she performed superbly well. The Excess 15 now is in Tahiti for a short stopover before heading to New Zealand. During her stay at this idyllic island paradise, our dealer Sail Tahiti will arrange a video shooting featuring the Excess 15 sailing from Tahiti to Moorea. Stay tuned for this beautiflly-produced video to come.

Flagstaff Marine has taken an active role in organizing Excess Tours in Australia for public viewings. The first stop was at Queensland on April 24th, and the second stop will be at New South Wales on May 1st. The 12 will later appear at one of the most important marine events in the southern hemisphere—Sanctuary Cove Boat Show held from May 20th - 23rd, 2021. We sincerely invite you to be part of those events, to further discover the Excess catamaran onboard.

Targeted at pleasure seekers, Excess catamarans are winning applauses from customers and industry insiders with their iconic features: twin helm stations aft offering authentic sailing sensations, retractable Bimini over the cockpit, as well as spacious volumes. Excess team also launches an online configurator, enabling you to configure your catamaran to your own desires. Meanwhile, you can register at Excess lab, an opportunity to share your suggestions, sailing experience and passion with the Excess Design team. More to discover with Excess Catamarans!
