Combined Comet Class Association announces sponsorship from Noble Marine for 2021 racing season

The Combined Comet Class Association is delighted to announce the continued sponsorship from Noble Marine Insurance for the 2021 racing season.

Membership to the CCCA is free of charge (details of joining are available at cometcombinedclasses.co.uk) and this sponsorship enables the association to maintain free access to all members.

Key dates for upcoming events:

  • CCCA Whitefriars Open meeting, 12th & 13th June
  • Comet Trio National Championships, 30th July - 1st Aug at Exe Sailing Club
  • CCCA Inland Championships, 16th - 17th Oct at Llangorse Sailing Club

We look forward to seeing you there, a great turnout is expected with some new boats making their maiden voyages.

Fickle wind makes an early lunch necessary Thirteen competitors arrived at Burghfield Sailing Club to find a good breeze down the lake allowing race officer, Dereck Lovegrove, to set a roughly figure of eight course with a long beat. Comets in 2025 Year in Review

2025 Comet Nationals at Gunfleet
29 entries from as far afield as Cornwall and Scotland Gunfleet Sailing Club hosted the 2025 Comet Nationals from June 6-8, a three-day event attracting 29 entries (including 9 ladies) from as far afield as Cornwall and Scotland.
