The Round Mersea Island Race 2021 takes place this year on 11th August 2021. We welcome once again entries from windsurfer race boards, rowing boats (gigs/skiffs), dinghies and catamarans. In view of the pandemic and in an effort to keep both competitors and volunteers as safe as possible much of the administration is online.

Entry will be online only and will open on 1st July 2020. The entry form will be available at Round the Island entry. The Notice of Race is available from the same place.

Fee £21 per vessel, payable on line at entry.

Start times are from 12:00 to 15:30 at 5 minute intervals. Your chosen start time and class of boat cannot be changed after receipt of entry. Port or Starboard rounding is chosen when registering. For safety reasons the maximum number of boats we can safely accommodate irrespective of type is 150, so enter early. Once that total number is reached we will start a waiting list.
