It wasn't the warmest of days, but the sun managed to glimpse through to give the impression of warmth. But who cares about the weather, we had the chance to be back on the water!
Kicking off at 10.30am a group of energetic and enthusiastic volunteers set up 'zones' for the watersports; offering SUPs, dinghies and kayaks and surreptitiously hid soft toy 'Easter' rabbits lent by the families attending for, not an egg, but a rabbit hunt.
There were also a couple of tables of activities (a quiz, drawing materials and egg & spoon races) round the poolside. Following the briefing small groups were put together for each activity, with ages ranging from 3 or 4 to about 16 years old.
It was brilliant to see members and their families getting the chance to see friends again and enjoy the sailing and watersports in a safe and friendly environment.
