With the boom in shorthanded sailing, the team at J Composites have created a series of videos on help you with your manoeuvres. The first is the Spinnaker Hoist.

Sailing the J/99 from Les Sables d'Olonne, home of the famous Vendée Globe race, this video guides you through every step of the process and makes what can be a daunting part of sailing shorthanded a simple and safe experience.

As with many things, preparation is key, dividing up the manoeuvre into distinct stages and remembering to complete key points beforehand.

We will be publishing a new video in this series each week. You can find out more about the J/99 here.
