Cyclops Marine is delighted to be sponsoring the JOG Home Ports Regatta, 29-30 August 2020. Sales Director Tom Pickles and Engineering Intern Will Birch-Tomlinson will be out on the racecourse giving customers of Cyclops Marine a leg up on the competition on yachts competing with a smarttune installed.

Cyclops Marine is a technology business that has developed a range of wireless load sensors for the sailing environment. The sensors bring America's Cup technology to the everyday sailor. Wireless load sensors like smarttune and smartlink enable sailors to set their rig up and fine tune their sheet loads to their optimum setting, so they repeatably hit their fast settings first time every time.

Four-time Volvo Ocean Race Winner Stu Bannatyne says that, "matching forestay tension to the wind and sails is the key to upwind performance." Tom and Will be looking to help customers experience this first-hand and get more value from their boat through the correct set up so they too can go faster and higher than the competition.

"The sailing season has been cut short this year as it is," comments Ian 'Chips' Howarth, CEO of Cyclops Marine. "Our Smart range of products help sailors get up to speed and the quicker they can do that, the better. Good luck to everyone competing in the regatta."

Registered competitors and Members of JOG should keep an eye on their inbox for a race exclusive offer coming their way. To learn more about smarttune and smartlink please visit www.cyclopsmarine.com
