Datrex celebrates 50 years in business and still going strong

by Datrex 15 Jun 2020 16:37 BST

June of 1970, John P. Simonsen founded Datrex Inc. in Miami, Florida. It launched the start of one of the most successful marine safety companies in existence.

Throughout the years, John has guided Datrex into an ever-growing business, however he has never lost touch for his personnel, safety, quality and business ethics.

Nobody can ever question his moral compass and we as employees are proud to be part of the Datrex team.

Today, Datrex operates five branches in the United States and we export to 40+ countries. We are a manufacturer of water and food rations, liferings, signage, commercial PFDs and other emergency pack equipment. Datrex has also several service centers for safety equipment and an importer for prestigious companies such as CM Hammar, Hansson PyroTech, Duarry, Nautic, Daniamant, Kadematic, Mullion, Secumar, Veleria San Giorgio, Jotron and many others.

Mr Datrex - John P. Simonsen, congratulations to you on the 50th anniversary of a true success story!
