B&G, the world's leading sailing navigation and instrument specialist, are pleased to announce their first virtual regatta, taking place on June 3rd at 3pm in partnership with YachtsandYachting.com. The B&G Virtual Invitational is your chance to race against B&G Ambassadors and Partners in an eSailing event, where you can also win fantastic prizes!

The event will be LIVE on the B&G official Facebook page, and we are inviting members of the public to compete against Team B&G in a total of 10 races. The overall winner amongst the challengers will win the top prize of a B&G Vulcan 7 sailing chartplotter; designed for coastal cruising and club racing.

Tom Cheney - Software Engineer at INEOS Team UK

Tom is a software engineer with experience in the performance sailing sector, having developed software for Volvo Ocean Race and America's Cup. He is now an engineer at INEOS Team UK.

Will Harris — Malizia Co-Skipper (GBR)

The B&G Virtual Invitational event will be co-hosted by Mark Jardine from YachtsandYachting.com and Alan Davis EVP of B&G; they will be providing commentary during the race as well as joining each of the competitors to quiz them on their tactics, as well as all their past experience as professional sailors.

Mark Jardine said, "I'm delighted to be working with B&G livestreaming their Virtual Invitational. During lockdown we've all been craving a bit of competitive sailing, and Virtual Regatta has provided us with the platform to do just that. It's going to be fascinating chatting to the sailors during the race, learning more about the strategies and how they use the virtual instrumentation!"

There is still time to enter, if you think you have what it takes to beat Team B&G and take home the top prize sign up today: www.yachtsandyachting.com/competition/22/BandG-Virtual-Invitational.
