Delta "T" Systems adds 3D Printer and new engineer

by Lynn Olen 22 May 2020 15:39 BST

Delta "T" Systems, global leader in engine room ventilation for recreational, commercial and military vessels, has hired Lucas Doranth as a mechanical engineer. In this newly created position, he joins the engineering staff to lead the prototyping and proof of concept work using the company's recently added large-format 3D printer.

Doranth is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. A Dassault Systèmes Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional, his role also includes parts drawings and custom design work. "Delta 'T' Systems' new 3D printer has a large build volume to create full-scale parts with complex geometries and within reasonable lead times," he noted. "Traditional prototyping methods are incapable of providing these benefits."

"We're pleased Lucas joined our team," said Lynn Oien, Delta "T" Systems president. "He brings enthusiasm and a unique skill set to the company. As we expand our product and service offerings for a wide range of industries, he's the ideal person to lead-up our 3D design initiative." The professional-grade printer may also be used to create production-quality parts of up to 60cm W x 60cm D x 120cm L in size.

For more information contact Delta "T" Systems, Tel: +1-561-204-1500; Fax: +1-561-848-1611. Email: or visit www.deltatsystems.com.
