The RYA's selection of accessible eBooks have been proving popular with locked down boaters all over the world. And with many of us now preparing for a return to boating, what better way to brush up on your knowledge before getting back out on the water?

For the rest of May, RYA Members can take advantage of an exclusive 30% discount on all eBook titles purchased through the RYA shop.

As well as books that directly support the RYA's world-famous training courses, the RYA also produce a number of titles that will help support your boating more generally by improving your knowledge.

Perhaps you're looking to get ahead on the racecourse with RYA Tactics (E-G40), or to discover the thrill of taking flight with RYA Foiling (E-G110)?

From refreshing the light characteristics of different buoys and beacons in the RYA Navigation Handbook (E-G6), to identifying vessels and understanding the rules of the road in RYA International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (E-G2) - with more than 80 titles to choose from, there really is something for everyone.

RYA Publications Manager, Steen Ingerslev commented: "The demand for eBooks has sky rocketed over the last few years and of course in recent weeks we've really seen this format come into its own."

Many RYA eBooks are enhanced with embedded animations, videos and interactive tools to help illustrate key points. You can also bookmark your reading material, search content and write and save notes.

As well as handy interactive features, many titles also adhere to the highest accessibility standards. Steen continued: "Lots of our books have been released on Apple Books and Google Play Books, offering enhanced accessibility to our readers, from the ability to change font, text size and background colours.

"This makes the reading experience much easier for readers who are partially sighted; have specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia; have non-specific learning disabilities or are physically disabled and read with a switch device."

All RYA eBooks are available to download in the way that works best for you, including the RYA Books App, Online or via Apple Books and Google Play Books. Find out more at rya.org.uk/go/eBooks.

RYA Members automatically receive a 15% discount when purchasing online from the RYA shop, but for the month of May we're offering an additional 15% discount on all RYA eBooks. Simply use the code EBOOKMAY20 at checkout.
