Saturday at 1pm Eastern Oakcliff Sailing are hosting a live Zoom call with Volvo Ocean Race veterans and Oakcliff Graduates, Mark Towill & Charlie Enright.

Mark & Charlie got their big start in ocean racing when they were featured in the Disney's 2008 film, Morning Light, which tells the story of the youngest crew to compete in the Transpac.

They kept the momentum rolling with the Oakcliff All-American Offshore Team and in 2014, the Turkish medical device company, Alvimedica, sponsored them for a Volvo campaign. They returned for their sophomore edition of the Volvo as Vestas 11th Hour Racing and will compete in the 2021 Ocean Race as the 11th Hour Racing Team.

Now you get an opportunity to ask all of your questions. How did they made it to the top of the ocean racing world? What celebrity would they like to take sailing? We've warned them to be ready!

This seminar is a part of our Weekend Workshop Series which we host every Saturday at 1pm Eastern with sailing industry experts. To see the full schedule of our Weekend Workshop Series, visit our online calendar.

Our Weekend Workshop series costs $20 and normally half of the proceeds go to support the presenters but Mark and Charlie have generously agreed to donate their portion to support first responders on the front lines of the Covid outbreak through Beauty, PPE, and Essential Care For The Ones That Are There.
