The team at Quirk Precision Engineering have been making the most of the lockdown in New Zealand to log some hours on the land-based trainer.

A couple of Kiwi sailing fans have been showing plenty of dedication during isolation, making use of the in-house engineering department to create a replica AC75 and have been putting it through its paces day and night.

Sailing Project - Lockdown 2020

It's no secret that the team at Quirk's are big Emirates Team New Zealand fans.

What you didn't know is that during the lockdown one of our team (and his junior trade assistants) has been working on a new design to help ETNZ out.

We reckon it's got potential but may need a few tweaks. Okay, it may need more than a few. But at least the sailors are cute!
