David Heritage Racing Yachts are pleased to announce great success at this years’ Skandia Cowes Week.
Stephen Bailey’s brand new Etchells “Arbitrator” built by David Heritage Racing Yachts has not only won their class in Cowes Week 2006 with 2 days to spare but also won the White Group overall with 1 day spare after what was a physically demanding week.
Crewed by Graham Bailey (Helm) David Heritage (Middle) & Stephen Bailey (Bow) the boat was launched Friday before Cowes Week and their first sail was the Saturday morning race where they scored their worst result of the week – 2nd! The rest of the week followed with 1st upon 1st.
Speaking after the weeks racing owner Stephen and helm Graham were thoroughly impressed with the new boat and are looking forward to winning more races with it.
Neil Payne and Jon Mortimer came in third overall in class in their new Etchells again built by David Heritage Racing Yachts, of which they are still getting used to after sailing Dragons for some time.
Congratulations to you all!
