On Wednesday 15th April at 3pm Barton Marine will host Ask the Expert - Live Event streamed directly from the Barton Marine Facebook page to the world of sailing. Anyone and everyone is invited to ask questions about any boating topic.

Christian Brewer, Barton Marine Global Sales Manager and sailing guru, will be answering your questions. Whether you want to know how a Barton Boomstrut works, which block is the right size for your boat, right through to general advice on how to get started in sailing, or even recommending his favourite sailing locations, Christian can help.

What can Christian teach me, we hear you ask? Well, his vast sailing experience started at a young age crewing for the legendary Stuart Jardine in the Quarter and Half Tonner Classes and going on to win 15 national titles, a European catamaran title, as well as becoming part of the Tornado Class Olympic Squad in 1988, there are few competitive boats Christian has not sailed. Lasers, XODs, J24s the list goes on and on. His first job in the industry was with Hood Sails in 1994, followed by roles with Hyde Sails, The Moorings, Dream Yacht Charter and obviously here at Barton Marine. Why not test his knowledge?

Send your advance questions to Christian by visiting the Barton Facebook page and send us a message with your question or add a comment to a post about the event. You can also email your questions to . Tune in for the answers on Wednesday 15th April at 3pm. Follow Barton and watch the live stream at
