Lark Class Covid-19 update

In the light of the developing Covid-19 situation, we are sad to announce that all Lark events have been cancelled leading up to and including the Lark Nationals at Rock. Although this is disappointing, we trust you understand ours, and Rock Sailing Club's, decision.

However, we are happy to announce that we have agreed with the club to revisit Rock for our 2021 Nationals, over the same half term/May Bank Holiday period. This gives us something all to look forward to, in these current uncertain times.

For those of you who have paid an entry for Rock '20, this can carried over to 2021 or you can claim a refund.

For accommodation, we have asked John Bray if deposits paid for May could be deferred until 2021. We are currently awaiting their response and will let you all know when we do. They have a dedicated COVID-19 page, which is regularly updated. Whoever your accommodation provider is, we would encourage you to transfer your booking to 2021 if you can.

As for the 2020 Inland and National Championship, we are looking at a number of options for later in the summer. Watch this space for updates.

Be assured the Lark committee are working hard on rearrangements to allow for as much great sailing this year, as possible, but recognising the ever moving circumstances and restriction that Covid-19 brings.

Stay safe everybody.

Lark Class Chairman
