Quick Release Hangers make fender deployment a snap

by Martin Flory Group 26 Mar 2020 16:50 GMT

Putting out fenders as a boat returns to the dock is always a bit of a chore, particularly for novices who may be uncomfortable tying knots or may lack experience gauging the correct height for placement. Quick Release Fender Hangers from Accon Marine utilize an innovative design that literally makes setting the fenders a snap.

Quick Release Fender Hangers consist of a low-profile base and a removable companion hinge ring that mounts permanently to the fender line, eliminating the need to continually tie and untie knots. The user simply snaps the hinge ring into the base to deploy the fender; sliding a small thumb pad releases the mechanism for easy retrieval.

Constructed of 316 stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance and durability, Quick Release Fender Hangers measure just 91mm L x 30mm W. They flush-mount just about anywhere with two #10 stainless steel screws. The 401-R-1 model comes with a 25mm mooring line ring while the 401-R-.5 features a 13mm ring for smaller lines.
