Enterprise Worlds & Nationals at Looe Sailing Club - Day 3

by Paula Southworth 2 Aug 2006 21:22 BST 30 July - 4 August 2006

Tuesday was very challenging for the sailors, rough sailing in a 4 to 5 gusting 6. Only one race – many sailors not starting or retiring – only 68 of the fleet completed the course. Quite a few breakages and overnight epoxy repairs needed!

Today (Wednesday) conditions are totally opposite – postponement of the fifth Race with a 10.00am start, due to lack of wind. Eventually the race got underway in a light ‘fluky’ 3.
