Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club's Frostbites Cancelled

by Cormac Bradley 14 Mar 2020 15:19 GMT

The DMYC have taken the decision to cancel the remaining Frostbite races in accordance with Government recommendations to avoid as far as possible all social interactions in an attempt to slow down the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

While it is acknowledged that the numbers taking part do not get to the threshold of outdoor events for cancellation, the view has been taken that cancellation is still the correct decision to take in the current climate.

All competitors in the 2019/20 Series will be emailed a discount voucher which can be used for next season's series.

The 2019/20 prize-giving will be hosted at a later date when the situation has normalised.

In the meantime, DMYC urges you all to stay safe.
