The presentation of the trophy to the winners of the Gul sponsored Golden Dolphin Series took place at this year's RYA Dinghy Show. Dave Hall was awarded the trophy by Gul's Jack Knowles.

Dave, crewed by Paul Constable, beat last year's winners, Kev Hope & Russell Thorne by just one point in the five-event series, with Pete & Tom Kyne finishing 3rd overall. Winners of the Silver fleet were Dan Johnson and Ben Latham, and the Bronze fleet was won by Matthew Currell & Harry Odling. The full series results are on the Fireball website here.

Also at the show, the draw took place for a weekend break at the Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall, including dinner and a surf lesson. Names of all the teams who took part in the Fireball Class Golden Dolphin travellers series went into a hat for the grand draw. Jack Knowles made the draw and none other than Paul Cullen AKA Spanner was pulled out!

A big thank you to Gul for their continued support of the UK Fireball fleet.
