Nautor's Swan, following its strategy to maintain its leadership in the sailing industry worldwide, has just confirmed a new organizational set up in the Americas, appointing Roy Capasso as the new Regional Director, in addition to his role as Regional Director for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Following the steps of the excellent job of Giulio Bertani, who's leaving the group for a new professional adventure, Mr. Capasso will take over, leveraging on his wide and proven experience in the marine industry.

"I'm very honoured Nautor's chose me to lead this very important and strategic market" says Roy Capasso, who spent most of his life breathing yachts. "We see significant growth opportunities and I am sure Nautor's will bring the sailing culture on top again in this region."

Roy Capasso will be supported by Mr. Ken Keefe, for Sales and and Peter McCloskey, for Customer Care, until January 2021, when Nautor's Swan will be establishing a new North American branch.

"With more than 500 yachts still sailing the American waters and a strong heritage, the choice to invest here comes from the fact that US represents one of the most strategic and appealing markets for us" says Giovanni Pomati, Group CEO. "With the renewal of Nautor's Swan product line, we conceived and designed yachts thinking also about the US clients lifestyle and one of our next steps is to export our successful regatta circuit.

After the success of last year, we have confirmed our presence with the Swan American Regatta, within the NYYC Race Week in Newport. We believe it's the right place to renew Nautor's Swan presence in the major sailing competitions".

Nautor's Swan is currently very active with the facility in Pietarsaari working against the clock with 5 Maxis in production, three of which ready to hit the water. Swan 98 will be presented during Monaco Yacht Show and ClubSwan 125 will be delivered early Autumn, but also the new project launched in Duesseldorf, the Swan 58 counts already 6 units sold and she will be launched next Boot 2021.

Moreover a calendar full of events has been announced: the Rolex Swan Cup, from September 7th to 13th, where more than 130 yachts are expected, the Swan European Regatta, a four years itinerant event, starting in Turku, Finland from July 7th to 12th, then in Stockholm in 2021, in Copenhagen in 2022 and will end in 2023 in Germany, the above mentioned Swan American Regatta for the next four years, the Nations Leagues Med and North Europe and the World Championship in Scarlino for the One Design classes.
