New Otam 80HT: Attitude by name, attitude by nature

The yacht Attitude is 80% complete. The engine room and systems are installed and the interior outfitting is progressing on schedule for a technical launch in mid-March. Following commissioning and sea trials, she will be delivered to her owner at the end of April.

The sixth hull in the OTAM 80 series is utterly different from her predecessors with a bespoke layout and new styling features devised by Umberto Tagliavini in collaboration with the shipyard.

In fact, the name chosen by her owner not only reflects the yacht's aggressive performance and design, but also OTAM's mission to build boats that are tailored 100% to the personal preferences of individual owners.

The new foredeck layout with a height-adjustable table effectively doubles the sun lounging area, and the larger transom garage now has room for 3.95m Williams sport jet tender. Both these modifications requested by the owner have been achieved without diluting the yacht's sleek and sporty profile.

The new cockpit layout resulted from another owner request. Equipped with a pro-spec music system, in 'party mode' the C-shaped sofa can seat up to 10 guests while the open layout provides better circulation flow.

Below deck, a further novelty is the 4-cabin layout. Previous editions of the OTAM 80 have had three or even two guest cabins. Attitude boasts a full-beam master stateroom, a forward VIP suite, a guest cabin with twin single beds and a fourth cabin for use by the owner's chef.

Attitude will make her international debut at the 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
