Unfortunately the final round of the Blithfield Barrel has had to be cancelled due to the forecast arrival of storm Ciara this Sunday, 9th February.

That leaves Andy Davis & Pippa Kilsby/Tom Pygall from South Staffs Sailing Club the 2020 Barrel winners. Chris Gould & Caroline Croft from Blithfield came second and Matt Biggs & Beka Jones third, all sailing Merlin Rockets.

The official prize-giving for the Barrel podium winners will now take place on the 1st March when the club will host an open handicap event 'The Blithfield Blast', visitors will enjoy free entry, legendary Blithfield cake and stacks of prizes. There will be three races starting at 11.30.

Prizes will pass down throughout the fleet thanks to our generous sponsors Harken, Hartley Boats, Birmingham Dinghy Services, Freedom Brewery and Creation Covers. Prizes will also include cash vouchers to spend at Hartley Boats.

We look forward to welcoming you all to the free entry 'Blithfield Blast' event on March 1st for fabulous racing, top prizes and and a good old blast!
