13 keen young sailors turned out for the third of IOCA South's winter training sessions at Spinnaker SC.
With a misty start to the day and little wind coaches Andy Kerr and Chay Taylor initially kept the sailors warm with some land based fitness based activities.
Once mid morning snacks had been consumed a gentle breeze had filled in allowing the sailors to practice their light airs sailing.
Andy's group showed some fantastic control whilst rudder-less sailing downwind whilst Chay's group enjoyed a water based game of Simon says.
Whilst the kids were afloat the Warsash SC parents set up their first "Sausage Sizzle" of the year and it was BBQ'd hot dogs all round for lunch.
More light air sailing in the afternoon was rewarded by a share of Megan's birthday cake once back ashore.
Sailing, hot dogs and cake - what's not to like about winter sailing!
