During the "Hydrogen, the Right Move at the Right Time" day, organized by AFHYPAC (French Association for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells) at the "Maison de la chimie" on Thursday, December 12, 2019, Energy Observer announces the launch of Energy Observer Developments' industrial activities, thus confirming its desire to deploy clean systems for everyone.

Energy Observer is now considered as an innovative and major player in the sector. A currently ongoing significant fundraising campaign will make it possible to finance the development of pioneering and ambitious industrial projects aiming at accelerating the transfer of technologies from Energy Observer Boat to a wide range of uses.

Jérémie Lagarrigue therefore presented the main activities of Energy Observer Developments during the round table on the decarbonisation of the maritime and river sectors using hydrogen. Energy Observer Developments thus offers a range of embedded systems and services: production of hydrogen power generators; engineering consulting in energy design; ecosystem studies, and hydrogen stations for maritime and land mobility.

During their European stopovers, the teams of Energy Observer observed and identified the real needs, but also understood the obstacles to the adoption of clean solutions. With Energy Observer Developments, Energy Observer wishes to put its experience and skills as sailors and engineers at the service of the development of an offer meeting the expectations and practices of the users.

After five years of design and testing in real conditions, Energy Observer is now launching Energy Observer Developments' operational activities thanks to the full support of its long-standing partners Accor, AccorInvest, Thélem assurances, Delanchy, and Amfil that have now declared their commitment as investors in this project.

Next to these loyal shareholders and sponsors that have been present since the beginning of the program, other major industrial partners such as ENGIE, Toyota, and Air Liquide are convinced that the Energy Observer Developments solutions are one of the extensions of their ongoing commitment to the development of the hydrogen sector, essential to the energy transition, for which it is necessary to mobilize and invest resources.

Today, shareholders, investors, sponsors, and industrial partners, are all joining forces with Energy Observer Developments to finally move from demonstration to concrete solutions, because innovation only makes sense if it is shared.
