Second part of mini series on Malcolm McKeon MM597 super yacht build is released

Southern Spars the world’s leader in design and construction of high performance carbon fibre spars, has released the second in a four part mini film, featuring Southern Spars’ Head of Super Yacht Sales, Paul MacDonald alongside Yacht Designer, Malcolm McKeon and Owner’s Rep Gregory Monks.

The series gives a behind the scenes look at the project development and design phases of the Malcolm McKeon MM597 project, currently in build at Royal Huisman shipyard.

In the second installment, Paul MacDonald explains how Southern Spars is the only mast builder in the world that can provide a fully integrated package to projects such as the MM597 by using its proprietary software MemBrain. The system allows the unification of specifications of the Southern Spars rig as it relates to the Future Fibres rigging and the sails of North Sails.
