53 boats race in first Double-Handed Regatta

The Royal Southampton Yacht Club’s first ever Double–Handed regatta attracted 53 entrants. The varied fleet included a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2, a Folkboat and a Seacart 30 trimaran as well as nine J-Boats. The regatta was sponsored by MDL Marinas which promoted a good gathering of competitors at the Yacht Club in Ocean Village Marina on the Saturday evening.

The Race Management team set the fleet away on both days from off the Lee on Solent area.
