Royal Geelong Yacht Club announces naming rights partnership – MacGlide Festival of Sails

Royal Geelong Yacht Club (RGYC) is proud to announce the 2020 Festival of Sails naming rights partnership between the club and MacGlide, by Mactac, a world leading biocide-free fouling release film manufacturer.
Festival of Sails Chairman Stuart Dickson said, "RGYC thanks Mactac for their vision and support of a major Victorian event and regatta steeped in history that fills Geelong's Corio Bay over the Australia Day weekend with boats, drawing tens of thousands of locals and visitors to the waterfront festival." Given the club's ongoing focus on greener waterfront solutions, Dickson adds "MacGlide by Mactac is very much in keeping with the club's environmental values."

Aside from being environmentally friendly, MacGlide prevents organisms from attaching to a vessel's hull. Fuel consumption is reduced by 5+%, speed increased by 4+%, and it's easy to clean and for certified wrap installers to apply.
