The shipyard has increased sales by 500 percent from 2012 to 2019 and for the nautical year 2019-2020 sales are already up by 33 percent.

Solaris was selected by the Corriere della Sera Economia, the most important Italian newspaper, as one of the 500 companies that drive the Italian economy.

This is the best recognition for the work done together with our owners in the development of boats that combine quality, design, functionality and safety.

Solaris 64'RS, 10 boats in less than a year

With 10 hulls sold in less than a year, the new Solaris 64 ' marks a European sales record in the top range segment, an unbeatable record for the current year.

All the design and construction solutions adopted for this boat meet the strict standards of ocean maxi yachts, where structural stresses and the complexity of construction and systems require specific expertise and experience.

The "raised saloon" deckhouse, large cockpit and large storage areas are particular features that characterise this unique boat, capable of sailing the worlds oceans.

The new construction site expansion

Thanks to the expansion and reorganization of all the logistics, production can now benefit from a further leap in efficiency.

With a more modern and functional working environment it will now be possible to take care of the boats under construction, down to the smallest details.

Anyone who is curious about visiting the new yard is always welcome:

The new Solaris 80 RS is coming

The 80 RS is the latest evolution of more than 30 years of Solaris experience in the construction of boats of more than 70 ', so-called "blue water" yachts.

The area that has benefited from the greatest evolution these years has been the construction of hull and deck and Solaris has long understood its importance, creating a production unit specialized in high-tech composite materials, the first of all the mass production shipyards.

Here the Solaris 80s are built with SPRINT technology - epoxy resin pre-impregnated fabrics and Corecell core - assembled and then post-cured at high temperature in a controlled temperature oven.

This mix of materials combines maximum reliability with comfort in long voyages even offshore with rough seas. These are the most valuable advantages:

  • Comfort given by the greater flexibility of glass fibers compared to carbon (no vibrations, no noise, softer on the waves and higher thermal insulation).
  • Carbon used only in the structures of the bottom of the hull and in the deck structures to ensure a higher resistance in the area of the keel, shrouds and stays.
  • Epoxy resins with industrial-level quality control processes (longer life/free from osmosis).
  • Post-cured epoxy resins at 90 degrees (the boat for its entire life is free from the "print-through" phenomenon - the marking of the fabrics on the surface of the hull due to the withdrawal of the fiberglass when exposed to the sun)
  • Corecell M type foam (avoids the problems of bubbles on laminates exposed to the sun)
  • NDT quality control process on all structural components installed on board
