Lumishore, manufacturer of high-performance LED marine lighting systems, announced today Lumi-Link Wireless, part of the recently launched LUX Lighting Collection by Lumishore, is nominated for the prestigious DAME Design Award. See the award-nominated Lumi-Link Wireless technology at the Lumishore booth at METS in Hall 3 stand 03.212.

The recently launched LUX Lighting Collection, comprised of new CRGBW Strip, Neon Flex, and Downlight and Courtesy Light fixtures, expands the Lumishore award-winning product line to take its revolutionary LED technology above the waterline. Adding to the LUX portfolio the award-nominated Lumi-Link Wireless LED light modules and drivers allow CRGBW (Cold-white/Red/Green/Blue/Warm-white) LED lights located anywhere on the boat to be centrally controlled from the multifunction display (MFD) with no need for data cables to be run through the vessel. Additionally, LED Drivers allow for simple switch installation for a more intuitive lighting control. As a world first, Lumi-Link Wireless drastically simplifies LED smart lighting installation for new builds and retrofits alike, saving boat builders and owners time, effort and cost.

"We are honored to be selected to present to the DAME judges at METSTRADE this year," said Eifrion Evans, CEO, Lumishore. "We recently launched the LUX Lighting Collection and our Lumi-Link Wireless is the first product of its kind. Lumishore has a rich history of delivering award-winning, technically superior products that are driven by a deep understanding of consumer and industry trends. Our DAME award nominated Lumi-Link Wireless is the most recent example of Lumishore's ongoing intelligent design and commitment to delivering innovative, integrated and intuitive lighting solution to the marine industry."

Understanding that boat builders continually look for increased production efficiencies and cost savings, as well as new emerging technologies to enhance their customer's experiences on the water drove Lumishore to engineer a solution that removes the requirement to run data cables for any of the new LUX Lighting Collection products, including the world's first Neon Flex.

A true innovation in LED lighting, the Lumishore Neon Flex is the only CRGBW fully white-temperature tunable and color-tunable product like it on the market. The cold white and warm white LEDs allow the user to select from any blend of white color temperature, while the onboard RGB LEDs allow the user to mix white into any color hue, from subtle to vivid. In addition, unlike standard strip lights which only enable RGB mixing and leave LED dots visible when installed in direct line of sight or on glossy surfaces, the cleverly designed diffusion layer of the Neon Flex blends the light to create a homogenous, dot free experience. Neon Flex is bright enough for direct illumination and its high CRI makes it the ideal replacement for other forms of lighting within the cabin.

All Lumishore underwater LUX, EOS and SUPRA LED lights can be centrally controlled from any combination of the world's leading MFDs, Lumishore touch-screen display, switches and any internet capable device like a smartphone or tablet. Delivering industry-first capability, LUX offers full spectrum, CRGBW, fully color-tunable and white temperature tunable lighting all in the same DC fixture for an unlimited combination of colors and intensity. The centrally controlled nature of LUX ensures color consistency throughout the entire vessel for a balanced and unified look. It also allows boaters to choose from a complete color palette to suit both mood and preference. Simple to set up and use, owners can easily control the lights by zone to create dramatic and very beautiful lighting effects.
