Ullswater Yacht Club welcomes all asymmetric classes to a weekend of racing on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6.

It's the last in the club's open meeting programme for the 2019 season and with a windy weekend forecast, it promises to be an exciting two days. Organisers are expecting a great turnout of one of the club's biggest fleets, the VX Ones. The club also has a thriving fleet of Musto Skiffs and a range of other asymmetric classes are expected to take part.

Six windward/leeward races are planned for the two days, with the start not before 1pm on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday. The briefing is at 10.30am on Saturday.

The open offers all the usual UYC hospitality with excellent food, camping on site, and great racing in lovely surroundings. Entry to the event and booking for camping is through the UYC website, ullswateryachtclub.org/event/283136. Online entries close at midnight on October 3, entries on the day incur a £10 extra fee.
