Zorra wins again on Saturday in a fine weather race with changeable 10 - 24 knot wind gusts challenging helms.
On Sunday, a multi-class race, Dash streaked ahead winning the SYC class by over 11 minutes. Little wind was forecast at the race start but then a southerly breeze with rain developed.
Course set was to Wheatcroft and back, one lap for the three SYC, two for the two 707s and the five IRC competitors. Spinnakers flown at the start, the yachts gybed at Buoy No 3 and held to Wheatcroft, close fetch back to No 8. During the race, Buoy No 5, not on Sunday's course, parted from it's moorings, and was recovered by SYC Member Rudi Barham's speedboat.
