Blue skies and wall to wall sunshine greeted the sailors for the start of day 2.

A slight postponement was in place whilst we waited for the wind to build. Race 1 for the Pros kicked off with a general recall. The second start was under the U flag with only one boat caught out. Blake Tudor (2897 - Brightlingsea Sailing Club) took the win for the Pros and the Sport fleet race was won by Nathan Russell (2086 - RHYC).

The subsequent races followed in timely succession, with a good spread of boats across the line. The line was square leaving little opportunity for quick gains. The Pro fleet saw 3 different winners with local sailor Blake Tudor win the second race, Alice Davis (798 - Great Moor SC), current leader win the third and Oliver Rayner (2602 - Yorkshire Dales SC) take the final race of the day.

In the Sport fleet, Oliver Stratton-Brown (2393 - Frensham Pond SC) emerged from the pack to take the second and third races and Jac Bailey (2156 - Port Dinorwic SC) took race 4.

Going into the third and final day, the leaders are Alice Davis (Pro) and Nathan Russell (Sport). Nathan currently has a 2 point lead on the boat in second place, so it is still all to play for.
