Every boat has that one spot where a grab rail is needed, but was never added due to the complexity of the installation. Schmitt & Ongaro Marine's 22.8cm Top-Mounted Grab Rail can be wood or cap screw mounted, so it's easy for OEMs and consumers to add this stylish piece of hardware on board.

The 22.8cm Top-Mounted Grab Rail is manufactured from T-316 cast stainless steel polished to a mirror-like finish. One integral black Santoprene™ rubber insert extending on the top and bottom surfaces is soft and comfortable to the touch and has the appearance of perforated leather. It's very tough and abrasion resistant, and provides a solid handgrip, even when wet. Custom insert colors are available to OEMs. The overall look matches any marine décor, whether classic or contemporary.

Installation is through flaps in the rubber insert that lift and provide access to insert the bolt or screw. Once the 22.8cm Top-Mounted Grab Rail is in place, all hardware is completely hidden for a custom-finished appearance. It comes with a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel and three years on the grip.
