There is still time to get your entry in for Cowes Week 2019. You can enter online until 5pm on Thursday 8th August. After this entries can be made by visiting the Regatta Office or calling 01983 242049.

Cowes Week Competitor App

Our dedicated Cowes Week Competitor App will be available for download shortly, giving every crew member with an iPhone or Android device access to their own personal schedule of racing, course information for the day (including distance and bearing to each mark), race announcements, the official wind forecast that the course setters are working to, and the key social events taking place shoreside.

New features this year include notifications when announcements or courses are released, together with a wallet of exclusive benefit cards that you can use during your time in Cowes. Early next week we'll email out a registration code to each registered crew member giving access to the App - so please do make sure that all of your crew are registered on the Cowes Week entry system.

Sustainability at Cowes Week

This year, CWL has taken the decision not to give competitors bow stickers or decals for their boats in what is sure to be a popular move with the increasing concern about plastic entering the sea.

Competitors are also reminded to bring along a reuasble water bottle whilst at the Regatta and using the refill stations posted at Cowes Yacht Haven and Shepards Marina. Water refills points are also available at selected shops throughout the High Street showing the Refill badge.

Support the home team at Cowes SailGP

SailGP, the fastest sail racing in the world, flies into the UK on the 10/11 August. The Cowes Week official feature event includes the free Cowes SailGP Race Village at Egypt Point, open daily from 11.30am with racing starting at 3pm. The SailGP Grandstand offers unrivalled views of the high adrenaline racing. Or join the world-class athletes on the water for all-inclusive hospitality with SailGP Cruise Premier. Show your support for the home team and book your seat today. SailGP.com/Cowes.

Land Rover Sailing Sessions

Land Rover is delighted to invite you and your family to an unmissable Land Rover Sailing Experience at Cowes Week on either 10th, 11th, 13th or 15th of August 2019, where children aged 8 to 18 will get the chance to sail the same water as the pros, and pick up some tips from two-time Olympic gold medallist Sarah Ayton OBE. No previous sailing experience necessary!

There are a number of hour-long sailing sessions to choose from on each day, either in the morning (from 09:30-12:30) or in the afternoon (from 12:30-18:00). It's all free of charge and complimentary refreshments are included. Just head to the Land Rover stand at Cowes Yacht Haven to book your session.
