Tasar World Championship at Hayling Island Sailing Club - Day 4

With a calmer 6-8 knot SW breeze in Hayling Bay Race 6 start was postponed for an hour this morning. The fleet was released at 11:15 BST to allow plenty of time to get out to the race course.
Race 6 started at 1314 BST after a general recall with one boat black flagged. First round the first mark was HISC's very own James Peters GBR 2877 who continued to dominate the race and finished first followed by Rob & Nicole Douglass AUS 2848 and third AUS James & Tara Burman.
Race 7 started for the second time after another general recall and a black flag for three boats. GBR 2877 James Peters and Charlie Darling were again first round the mark and continued to lead round the course with an impressive 2 and half minute lead over second boat AUS 2848 Rob and Nicole Douglass and third boat AUS 2942 James and Tara Burman.
Race 8 started first time without anyone being over the line and made it 3 out of 3 wins for dynamic duo GBR 2877 James Peters and Charlie Darling. Australian boats AUS 2857 Craig McPhee and Gillian Berry came in second and AUS 2848 Rob and Nicole Douglass came in third.
James Peters said "It was a great day in Hayling Bay again providing champagne sailing, but today only around 8-10 knots. We made 3 great starts and had the rig working nicely that enabled us to convert 3 raced wins. It's not often you do that on a day's racing with a fleet as tough as this one, so we're super happy. Lots still to do."
"Sailor Girl" Nicole Douglass commented, "We sailed an incredibly consistent day with consistent results but not enough to beat local duo James and Charlie. We have become great friends over the regatta as we are all super competitive - they are lightning fast upwind."
