The club Nàutic El Balís has everything in place and ready to host the Europe class World Championship. In the Championship, which will be held from July 29 to August 9, more than 150 boats will compete in the waters of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres.

Open Week and Nations Cup

The Europe World Championship includes various competitions such as the Open Week, that will take place from July 29 to August 2, when about 80 sailors from ten countries will compete to qualify for the World Championship. The Open Week competition will begin on Tuesday, July 30 and on August 2 the prizes will be awarded.

The Nations Cup will be held between August 3 and 4. It is a team race where sailors from different European nations will compete representing their country.

World Championship

From August 3 to 9, more than 150 sailors from a dozen countries - 11 of them from the CN El Balís - will compete to be the Europe class world champion. The measurements will take plays on the 3rd and 4th, and the competition in the water will happen from August 5 to 9. On Sunday, August 4, an opening ceremony will be held in the center of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres where sailors will have a flag parade and will be received by the authorities.

The World Championship winners will receive their trophies at the closing ceremony on Friday, August 9.

Ancien Bath Vallromanes (AIR) sponsors the event.
