With the sailing season in full swing, the Harken UK Tech Team will once again be on the Isle of Wight for this year's Fastnet Race and Cowes Week.

Harken UK's technicians will be providing sailors with servicing and support, including upgrades and system tweaks, advice on winch servicing, plus pre-race booked inspections.

The Fastnet Race takes place first on August 3rd, before Cowes Week (the oldest and largest annual sailing regatta in the world), runs from 10th-17th of August the week after.

You will be able to find the Tech Team van at Cowes Yacht Haven over the course of the following dates:

  • Thursday 1st August in the evening - Saturday 3rd until the Fastnet Race starts
  • Friday 9th August - Saturday 17th throughout the duration of Cowes Week

Look out for the bright red flag and you'll find them!

The emphasis for Harken will be to offer support and servicing and get any last-minute stranded sailors back on the water so they can take part in the events.

Don't let a deck equipment failure cost you your place in the race! If you would like to pre-book an inspection, as the events get busy, please contact the Harken UK Tech Service Team on 07791 300 379 or
