Your summer kit bag essentials

With the weather heating up its important to review whats in your kit bag in order to stay safe when out on the water. Even when its chilly, youre at risk of UV exposure and sunburn so its always best to protect your skin with a rash vest.

Comfortable and easy to wear, a UV rash vest will protect you from UV rays so you can enjoy sailing for longer. Its not just your body that needs to be protected during the warmer weather, ensure you have a good quality pair of sunglasses to block out glare and light reflections as well as UV rays, whilst allowing you full, clear eyesight.

Youll also need that all important hat to shield your head and keep your focus. Choose one with built-in UV protection and a wicking headband to keep moisture away from the skin.
