Bob Johnstone, Founder and CEO of MJM Yachts announced today that MarineMax has been appointed the MJM Yachts dealer for the Florida Gulf Coast, north to the Panhandle, and Florida Mid-Atlantic Coast, from Palm Beach to Indian River County. "In its primary locations, MarineMax offers full sales, brokerage, boatyard and marina services. They do an exceptional job of supporting owner activities. We are pleased to add MarineMax to MJM's national network of sales and service professionals," said Johnstone. MarineMax stores carrying MJM Yachts are located in Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Venice, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Stuart and North Palm Beach.

Particularly suited to these MarineMax store areas are MJM Yachts' new 35z, 43z and 53z outboard express cruisers, built with light, strong epoxy construction that feature fast, stable hull designs of Doug Zurn and a welcome new level of yacht comfort to the world of outboard motorboats.

MJMs are also noted for their ease of docking thanks to flush-decks, side boarding doors at dock height and the latest joystick and hovering technologies. Gone is the drama of docking and reliance on professional captains to run the boats safely into a slip. Also, MJM was the first brand in the world to offer a no-roll Seakeeper gyro as standard on the MJM 50z, and now on all models. Exterior finishes are low-maintenance and the boats' wide-open layouts are ideal for entertaining.

Johnstone, his wife Mary and son Peter lead the company with the passion and years of experience as true yachtsmen. Transitioning from the performance sailing world of J/Boats and Gunboat, they've applied the same "best performing brand" strategy to powerboats with Doug Zurn as the naval architect and with Mark Lindsay and Scott Smith's advanced composite building capabilities at Boston BoatWorks. The "J's" also make it a point to own and run each new model to insure it meets their demanding expectations for performance, functionality and quality.

Boat owners who purchase through MarineMax join an elite group they consider family, receiving access to owners-only MarineMax Getaways!®- trips and adventures to local hot spots as well as the Bahamas and British Virgin Islands, creating a lifetime of memories with friends and family on the water.
