2019 Sail West kicks off at Central Okanagan Sailing Association

Sail West kicks off today at the Central Okanagan Sailing Association in beautiful Kelowna, BC. Sailors in the 29er, Club 420, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Laser Std., Optimist and RS Feva fleets will start the event with two training days on Thursday and Friday, followed by two days of racing.

Current Canadian Sailing Development Squad member Kyle Martin and experienced skiff sailor and coach Alexa Edgar will lead the coaching and debriefs for the two training days. With sailors and coaches from all across the west coast, this is sure to be a great event!

Prizing is generously provided by Sail Canada partner Helly Hansen for the top sailors in each fleet. Stay tuned throughout the weekend for results and updates!
