Our Beach Clubs - Some New Changes!
Our Vassiliki and Porto Heli Beach clubs have been open for 3 weeks and everyone is enjoying the sun, warm waters and reliable wind conditions.
We have some new developments since the programme opened this summer that wed like to share with you: |
The Return Of Our Free RYA Courses!
We started the season having made a change to our tuition, which we did from guest feedback from 2018: So we trialled some shorter, more intense daily lessons (rather than a complete, free RYA course) and bolstered them with more racing and Sailaway dinghy cruising activities in between.
After two weeks of trying this, we missed the sociable nature of our all-inclusive group lessons (the RYA course) and so we have decided to reintroduce them. Weve also decided to keep the racing and dinghy cruising. |

Beginner Skipper Course - Gets An Enhanced Qualification! |
Our 4-day beginner skippers course has been designed for candidates to earn the RYA Cruising Level 2 certificate. It does restrict the candidate to chartering only with Ocean Elements and so we have extended our qualification to offer you the IYT (International Yacht Training) Flotilla skippers qualification. |

Our new course (available now, for this summer) will give candidates the IYT certificate which is recognised with all charter companies worldwide. It is on a par with the Day Skipper syllabus and our course is 5 days as it includes the VHF radio license, too. The price is reduced to £399 for our StaySail guests. £799 for non staysail guests.
We also run an extension to this course for experienced sailors (200 miles or 5 days at sea) so they can get the IYT Bareboat Skipper certificate in the same 5 days for a £150 additional fee. |
