The 2019 Europe Nationals will be held at the WPNSA © Europe class

With 30 boats now signed up, Weymouth this coming weekend is the place to be if you have a Europe dinghy.

An early start is planned for the Friday training with a 9am session ashore on boat set up, and on-the-water practice before lunch. A second session afloat in the afternoon and video debrief all before the class gather together for a BBQ ahead of the serious stuff the following day.

Three back-to-back races are planned for the Saturday, followed by the class AGM and dinner at The Boat that Rocks with plenty of time to catch up on the days antics on the water, swap tips, catch up with old friends and get to know newcomers to the class. A further three races on the Sunday before a new champion will be crowned.

Its not all about the racing through, with prizes available for 1st Nationals, non-carbon masts, classic boats, a number of age related prizes as well as other spot prizes for any notable occurrences over the weekend, there is something for every level of sailor to aim for.

If you still haven't entered yet, entries can be taken on the day so its not too late to come, just turn up and join in the fun.
